What to expect at your first appointment

Exactly what happens when you start with AndroMD — from the first conversation to your baseline labs and personalized plan.

The conversation

It starts with listening. A physician asks about your symptoms, your history, your goals, and anything relevant in your medical background. This isn't a formality — the picture you describe shapes what gets tested and how your results are interpreted.

The baseline panel

A complete blood draw establishes where you actually stand: total and free testosterone, estradiol, PSA, a complete blood count, and metabolic markers. Timing matters — testosterone is measured in the morning when it peaks. At AndroMD this panel is included from the first visit.

The decision

Your physician reviews the results with you in plain language. If your numbers and symptoms line up, you'll discuss a protocol — including which delivery method fits your life. If they don't, you'll get an honest answer and a sensible next step instead of a prescription you don't need.

After you start

Therapy isn't set-and-forget. Follow-up bloodwork on a schedule keeps your levels and your health dialed in. Read more about safety and monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

Some markers read best fasting; you'll get specific instructions beforehand. Testosterone itself is drawn in the morning.
Sometimes, once labs confirm the picture. The point is a real diagnosis first — not a vial handed out before testing.
